Where is Wooden Spoons Alaska located?
We're at 1300 W. 36th Avenue, Anchorage, AK 99503, in Anchorage's Spenard neighborhood.
What are the current hours?
Tuesday–Friday 7:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., or until we sell out. Closed Sunday and Monday.
Do you sell out?
Often. We bake a set amount each morning and stop when it's gone, so ordering ahead is the safest way to get what you want.
How early should I order?
As early as you can. Same-day preorders close at 7:00 a.m.
Can I order the same day?
Yes, if you place your preorder before the 7:00 a.m. cutoff and items are still available.
Where do I pick up my order?
At the counter at 1300 W. 36th Avenue during open hours.
Can I choose different bagel flavors in a dozen?
Yes — dozens can be mixed from the flavors available that day.
Do you offer sliced or toasted bagels?
Slicing options are confirmed at ordering. Please ask at the counter or note it in your order.
Which products are vegetarian?
Most bagels and cream cheeses are vegetarian. Items are labeled on the menu where verified.
Are vegan options available?
Vegan availability varies. Ask before ordering and we'll tell you what's vegan that day.
What allergens are present?
Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, fish, sesame, soy and tree nuts. We can't guarantee an allergen-free product.
Do you offer gluten-free bagels?
Not at this time — our bagels are made with wheat flour.
Do you deliver?
Orders are pickup only. Catering drop-off may be available depending on the date.
Do you provide catering?
Yes — bagel platters, lox platters and breakfast catering for offices and events.
How far in advance should catering be ordered?
At least 48–72 hours, and earlier for large or weekend events.
Are gift cards available?
Yes, gift cards are available in our online store.
How do holiday preorders work?
Holiday preorders open in the online store ahead of the date and close early. Watch the banner and our Instagram.
What happens if the store closes due to weather?
We post a closure notice at the top of this site and on Instagram, and we contact affected preorders.
